Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill was founded in the 1880s as a residential suburb. Today, the neighborhood offers a range of housing types, from extravagant Victorian, Tudor, and Greek mansions, to condos and apartments accessible to buyers in all price ranges. One of the most prominent residents was legendary Titanic survivor, Molly Brown, whose house still stands on Pennsylvania Street as a tourist attraction. With walkable streets and every amenity imaginable close by, often times pedestrian traffic outnumbers automobile traffic. An eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutiques, and a great sense of neighborhood make Capitol Hill the city’s most densely populated neighborhood.
