Wellshire

With its meandering streets, the Wellshire neighborhood is ideal for anyone who longs for urban convenience coupled with a peaceful home life. Single-family homes and ranches comprise this community, as well as parks, churches, and the renowned Slaven’s School, part of the Denver Public School system, educating elementary and middle school students. The 18-hole Wellshire Golf Course, designed in 1926 by Donald Ross, comprises one-quarter of the Wellshire area. The 13.4-acre Skeel Reservoir and mature landscaping in the area draw beginners and avid golfers alike.  Wellshire also came in with the lowest crime of all Denver Neighborhoods in 2006.  See Rocky Mtn News article.
